Learning Beyond Registration (LBR) courses

Education for health and social care professionals

Health and social care professionals, mental health workers, criminal justice and third sector agency workers can continue their professional development through our range of Learning Beyond Registration (LBR) programmes. Students are able to study full-time or part-time, whether newly qualified or having several years of experience in practice. Individual modules are also available to study on a stand-alone basis.

Our programmes

  • BSc (Hons) Mental Health and Social Care (Level 3 study)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies for Psychosis (Level 4 study)

Our modules

A module can be studied as a stand-alone development opportunity or as part of a programme of study leading to one of the above awards (Level 3 study is undergraduate, Level 4 study is postgraduate).

Fully funded places are available to health and social care professionals working in the East Midlands (under certain conditions).  These places are funded through the Health Education East Midlands (HEEM) contract with The University of Nottingham.  For those working in other areas, please see the current University of Nottingham fee structure at www.notingham.ac.uk/fees
