 te Professor of Psychiatry in the University of Connecticut Health Center.
  Dr. Diniz is a geriatric psychiatrist and earned his PhD in Clinical Neur
 oscience. His work is focused on understanding the mechanisms of late-life
  neuropsychiatric disorders. In this presentation\, Dr. Diniz will examine
  the mechanisms by which a history of major depression can increase the ri
 sk of Alzheimer’s disease and Related Dementia and potential avenues for p
 revention of Alzheimer's disease and Related Dementia in this population. 
 Dr Diniz is an invited speaker from the Universitas 21 (U21) Dementia Comm
