 cians and service users). The event celebrates the breadth of ideas and re
 search work currently taking place within the Institute of Mental Health.

 nd Director of the Institute for Mental Health at the University of Birmin
 gham. He has PhDs in both Psychiatry and in Philosophy. He is Honorary Con
 sultant Psychiatrist for the East Birmingham Early Intervention in Psychos
 is service  and Director\, NIHR Midlands Translational Centre\, Mental Hea
 lth Mission and Deputy Director Midlands Mental Health and Neuroscience Ph
 D Programme and West Midlands Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) Me
 ntal Health Specialty Lead.  He leads Wellcome\, NIHR\, EU and NIH funded 
 research and his research interests include youth mental health\, the prod
 romal phase of psychosis\, delusion formation\, mood instability\, functio
 nal neuroimaging\, interdisciplinary methods\, mental health humanities\,
