DESCRIPTION:The Trent Study Day (TSD) is a well-established annual conferen
 ce hosted by the Forensic Care Group of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Fou
 ndation Trust and the Institute of Mental Health (a partnership between th
 e Trust and the University of Nottingham). It is aimed at a multi-professi
 onal audience and brings together  a number of  experts\, researchers and 
 practitioners  to share knowledge and understanding around a topic related
  to forensic mental health. \nThe TSD also provides an opportunity for res
 earchers and practioners to exhibit research posters on any topic related 
 to mental health and/or forensic issues (this is not limited to the years 
 main TSD theme).\n \nThis years TSD: 'Trauma in secure care'\n Forensic me
 ntal health services play a vital role in supporting some of the most vuln
 erable people in our communities. Understanding the impact of trauma is es
 sential to providing safe\, compassionate\, and effective care. This year'
 s TSD offers an opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities of
  trauma-informed practice in secure settings\, share innovative approaches
 \, and build stronger networks of support across disciplines.  Presentatio
 n topics include:  trauma-informed forensic practice\, staff trauma\, vete
 rans and trauma\, trauma informed physical healthcare\, homelessness\, the
  role of art psychotherapy and developing best practice guidelines.\n \nRe
