We are looking for three people with lived experience of mental distress to join the advisory board for the IMH's new Centre for Mental Health and Human Rights.

The priorities and direction of the centre will be overseen by the advisory board. Membership of the board will include the Director of the Centre (currently Professor Peter Bartlett), the Director of the IMH (currently Professor Martin Orrell), a representative from the WHO in Geneva, a representation from the research programmes of the Centre, the Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) lead for the IMH, and at least three persons with lived experience of mental distress.

The advisory board roles will only contribute to the overall direction and priorities of the new centre, there will not be any direct involvement in individual projects. It is hoped that the Centre will work in collaboration with the World Health Organization.

There are some application criteria and further information to read in the document below.

Applications are to be made by sending a CV, with a covering letter, to Professor Peter Bartlett by 14th May 2018. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
