CANDAL stands for the Centre for ADHD and Neurodevelopmental Disorders Across the Lifespan. The Centre is led by Professor David Daley, Professor of Psychological Intervention and Behaviour Change.

Neurodevelopmental disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Tourette’s Syndrome (TS), and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are common and impairing conditions that frequently co-exist and affect about one in 20 people across the lifespan.

The Centre aims to bring together clinicians, service users and academics with an interest in neurodevelopmental disorders, including attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder and Tourette’s Syndrome.
