NIHR MindTech MedTech Co-operative is a national centre focusing on the development, adoption and evaluation of new technologies for mental healthcare and dementia. It was established in 2013 and is funded by the National Institute for Healthcare Research (NIHR). MindTech, hosted by the Institute of Mental Health, brings together healthcare professionals, researchers, industry and the public. It is one of eight centres in England, each concentrating on a different area of unmet need. MindTech is focused on mental health and dementia. It was re-commissioned for a further five years by the NIHR in 2017.

Researchers from MindTech have identified the top 10 questions that people with mental health problems, their carers and healthcare professionals want answered about how digital technology can help in treatment and management.

The next steps for our new Top 10 questions are to discuss how these can best be answered through new research projects, methods and partnerships. Scout has made a new video to introduce the Top 10 questions and explain why this project is so important!

This video looks at the valuable role of the involvement team in the work of NIHR MindTech HTC and the BRC mental health and technology theme.
