Kate is our Public Involvement Lead. In her role she supports, develops and delivers the Involvement needs of the Institute of Mental Health’s research advisors, volunteers and academic teams.

Within the function of the Public Involvement Lead she also works with the Institute of Mental Health’s Advisory Board to oversee good patient and public involvement within the Institute. Working under the Head of Communications and with the Institute’s Research Support team, Kate’s role also nurtures and embeds working practices with the Involvement, Experience and Volunteering teams of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to improve public opportunities in accessing research.
