Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is research active and conducts many small local projects as well as large-scale, national and international, commercial and non-commercial research supported by the NIHR's East Midlands Research Delivery team which is hosted at the Institute of Mental Health. Many of these studies are looking for people to take part.

Our portfolio of current research includes studies about:

If you see an opportunity that interests you either speak to your doctor or care team, or contact the Lead Researcher to discuss the study in more detail. Contact details are provided at the end of each study.

All research conducted by Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has been reviewed by the research department and a research ethics committee. This ensures every research study is of the highest standard.

The research team will talk you through what is involved and explain any possible risks and benefits to you. It is your decision whether you wish to take part in the study and you can change your mind at any time – it will not affect your care. Sometimes it may not be possible for you to take part in a particular study, for example, you may need to be at a particular stage of your condition or treatment, or be a certain age. Or there may already be enough people already signed up.

If you have any general enquires or would like to know more about taking part in research please email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  and a member of the research delivery team will get back to you.
