We are pleased to invite you to the AQUEDUCT Dissemination and Reflection Event. We hope to share our findings as well as recognise and celebrate the contributions of clinical staff members and NHS research delivery and innovation departments from across England who took part in the Achieving Quality and Effectiveness in Dementia Using Crisis Teams (AQUEDUCT) research programme.

About the AQUEDUCT Programme:

AQUEDUCT was funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and aimed to improve crisis management in dementia care by developing and evaluating a new model to reduce hospital admissions, enhance service quality, and improve care experiences. Central to this effort was the development and use of the AQUEDUCT Tool and the AQUEDUCT Resource Kit, which provided tools to support quality improvement and standardise best practices.

A Big Thank you!

All staff from Teams Managing Crisis in Dementia (TMCDs) who participated, as well as the supporting research development and innovation staff, have made invaluable contributions to the programme and played a key role in advancing our understanding of dementia crisis management. This event offers a chance to reflect on our shared efforts, celebrate our successes, and explore ways to continue supporting people living with dementia, their carers, and the dedicated staff providing care during times of crisis. Attendees from TMCDs will receive a certificate of participation and appreciation, while registered research development and innovation staff will be recognised with a certificate of outstanding support and gratitude.
