Refocus on Recovery will be returning to Nottingham on 9th and 10th September 2027, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in central Nottingham, which has step-free access to the conference hall.

Our 2027 conference will be a partnership between the Recovery Research Team, Imroc, Habitus Collective, and Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (through the Institute of Mental Health). 

Our conference themes for 2027 are:

• Theme 1 – Lived experience leadership
• Theme 2 – Recovery and community
• Theme 3 – Recovery and services
• Theme 4 – Recovery beyond mental health

As for 2023 and 2025, there will be no parallel presentations. Our successful 2025 “lighting talks” innovation will return, to maximise the range of voices that have a conference platform.
