Following the success of last year's seminar series, we're hosting a second series of events in June and July 2022, with our speakers from a range of backgrounds sharing their research and experience.

Seminar 1:  Autistic, but not just autistic: diversity of experience within the neurotype

Wednesday 8th June, 10am - 12.00pm

This symposium focused on understanding autism as it is experienced in the context of diverse issues related to physical health, gender identity, and co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and psychosis.

Seminar 2: Understanding and supporting neurodiversity in the classroom

Thursday 30th June, 10am - 12.00pm  

What are the experiences of neurodiverse children and young people in educational settings? This seminar will present some approaches to helping them achieve their potential in the classroom and the research that is being carried out to develop these approaches. Our speakers include researchers, parents, and teachers.

Seminar 3: Digital technology for neurodiversities

Monday 11th July, 10.30am - 12.30pm  

This symposium will explore how digital technologies can support neurodiverse children and adults. The symposium covers a wide range of digital applications within different neurodevelopmental disorders.
