Sobana is an Assistant Professor based in the School of Psychology.

Brief biography

She is the Principal Investigator on NeuroSync,  a longitudinal research project investigating brain-to-brain synchrony between mothers and babies and the effects on cognitive function. Her research focuses on the development of executive functions, specifically, visual working memory and inhibitory control across the lifespan. She uses a combination of behavioural methods, neuroimaging and computational modelling.
