Brief biography

Dr Joanna Martin is a Senior Research Fellow at Cardiff University, affiliated with the Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health and the Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics. Her research interests bridge the fields of psychiatry, epidemiology, and genomics. Her research focus is on understanding why girls/women are less likely than boys/men to be diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her work aims to improve knowledge and timely diagnosis of ADHD, particularly in girls.
