Brief biography

A secondary school teacher since 2008, I was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 36, and autistic at 38. Since then, I have trained teachers, GPs and sports coaches to better support neurodivergent individuals, and spoken openly about my lived experience. I'm working to dispel stereotypes and promote understanding around neurodevelopmental conditions, from the perspective of a teacher, parent and individual with lived experience.
