Brief biography

Having worked in mental health and brain injury services, and the youth offending service, I saw the barriers in people accessing consistent and timely support. With a developing interest in research, I have since worked in the NHS and University of Nottingham, researching novel interventions to address these pressures. I am now embarking on an exciting new PhD opportunity developing an online support package co-produced with GPs to improve their knowledge of tic disorders. This will hopefully help those living with tics to have more positive experiences when accessing healthcare services, while supporting clinicians to feel better equipped to advise people presenting with tics.
