Georgina is a Professor of Cognitive Neuropsychology for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Brief biography

Her research interests concern selection and control of action, and co-ordination of goal-directed action and how these are affected by neuropsychiatric disorders. Georgina uses electrophysiological and functional brain imaging methods with cognitive and motoric behavioural tasks to help explain mechanisms of behavioural regulation and cognitive control in such disorders, but with a particular focus on understanding Tourette syndrome.
