Centre for Dementia researcher Dr Emma Broome beat off stiff competition to represent Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in a national dementia research group.

Emma applied to join the National Institure for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network (CRN) Dementia National Specialty Group earlier this year. Professor John O'Brien, Specialty Lead was 'very impressed' with Emma's application, declaring they're delighted to invite her to join the group. Emma thanked Centre Director Professor Tom Dening and Dr Helen Henshaw for their support during the application process, saying: "I’m really looking forward to taking on this role... it's good news for us all."

Congratulations Emma.
