Congratulations to our Centre for Dementia colleague, Dr Emma Broome as she celebrates double award success!

The University of Nottingham School of Medicine recently invited nominations for their ‘Celebrating our People’ staff awards. Not only did Emma win the award for Early Career Researcher but also Outstanding Team with her Hearing Research Delivery Team colleagues.

Principal Research Fellow Dr Helen Henshaw nominated Emma:

“Emma is a highly valued member of my team, our Hearing Sciences department, and the School of Medicine. She exudes warmth and offers continual and unwavering support to our colleagues and collaborators, without hesitation or delay. I struggle to think of a more deserving candidate for this award and I look forward to sharing this nomination with her.”

The awards ceremony took place at the University on 9 June. Speaking of her success, Emma remarked:

“I am thrilled to be nominated for this award and very grateful for the recognition of my work over the past year.”

Congratulations to Emma and to her colleagues in Hearing Research.
