Dr Serena Sabatini is an ESRC Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Medicine.

Serena completed her PhD at the University of Exeter in 2021. Her PhD project explored the concept of awareness of age-related changes and its associations with indicators of cognitive, physical, and mental health in the second half of life. Her current project focuses on the causal associations between awareness of age-related changes and indicators of health and lifestyle. Serena is also conducting research on subjective cognitive decline, dementia, and caregiving.
