For University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine - 5 March 2026

Dr Grace Carter was invited to the University of Cambridge to give a guest lecture to the School of Clinical Medicine on the topic ‘International Legal Perspectives of Mental Health Care and Support.’ In the lecture and corresponding seminar, Dr Carter informed trainee clinical psychologists about key international approaches to mental health care, including how these approaches can be implemented in mental health care within different countries.

Dr Carter drew on WHO guidance and case studies from across the world presented at the WHO November launch of the 'guidance on policy and strategic actions to protect and promote mental health across government sectors'
