Boliang Guo, PhD, CStat, Fellow HEA, is a professional medical statistician for NIHR ARC EM studies.

He has been the statistics lead person for numerous studies which were funded by various funders such as NIHR, NHS, PHE and EU since he joined the University of Nottingham in 2011. As an applied statistician with mental health study background, his research interests are primarily the application of general epidemiological modelling, multilevel modelling, latent variable modelling, psychometric analysis, clinical trial design and data analysis, as well as meta-analysis with specialty on diagnostics test accuracy meta-analysis. His publications can be found through Google Scholar or ORCID system. His teaching involvement includes co-supervising PGR students and running appointment based drop-in Statistical Clinics for medical school staff and students.
