Josephine NwaAmaka Bardi is a mental health nurse, anthropologist, and a senior lecturer at the London South Bank University.

She is the founder of the up-and-coming global campaign to Raise Awareness of Mental Health in Higher Education (RAMHHE) and she is currently pioneering the campaign for positive mental health awareness/literacy in Nigeria. Her PhD was a novel ethnography of an informal community mental health service, “The Dragon Café”, underpinned by Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of practice. Josephine is an eloquent public speaker with 21 national and international conference and 11 media appearances, including radio, TV and newspaper.
