Alicia Falcon Caro PhD, is an MRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow, based at the Precision Imaging Beacon within the School of Medicine. 

Dr. Falcon Caro has a PhD in Brain-Computer Interfaces, an MSc in Cybernetics and Communications, and a BEng in Electronics Engineering. She studies the physiological mechanism underlying low-intensity focused ultrasound stimulation (FUS) through brain imaging methods such as electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). She is currently working on a closed-loop transcranial FUS system that aims to provide a more personalised and effective neuromodulation treatment for the improvement of brain and mental health.
