Dr Antonella Macerollo is a Consultant Neurologist at the Walton Centre with expertise in movement disorders and related neurofunctional surgical therapies (deep brain stimulation and MRI guided focused ultrasound).

In 2021, she co-founded the joint Tourette’s Disease Clinic at the Walton Centre and is currently running this service with Dr Alfia Arun. This is the first joint neurology/neuropsychiatry clinic dedicated to patients living with Tourette Syndrome in North West. She was awarded a PhD in Neuroscience at the University College of London and has academic roles at University of Liverpool and at Manchester Metropolitan University. She is the Regional Clinical Lead (North West) of the Excellence Network of the Parkinson’s UK and North West Specialty Lead for Neurological Disorders to the NIHR North West Research Delivery Network.
