REBOOT - Researching online mental health support

Aim: REBOOT (researching online mental health support) is a study set up to see whether an online peer support website called Big White Wall is effective in helping people experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety. It aims to recruit more than 2,000 people who have symptoms of anxiety and depression to help with the research.

Research funding(s): The study is being run by CLAHRC-EM (Collaboration for Leadership and Applied Health Research and Care – East Midlands) which is funded by the NHS.

Lead researcher(s): Professor Richard Morriss.

Partners: University of Nottingham, University of Leicester, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, and CLAHRC-EM.

Timescales: Recruitment to take part in the study is open until the end of May 2018
