PRESIDE stands for “Preliminary Randomised Evaluation of Singing in Dementia”. It is a two-year project which is funded by NIHR Research for Social Care.

The study aims to investigate group singing for people with dementia and their carers. We want to find out the feasibility of conducting a study of community singing, and how singing affects the lives of people with dementia and their carers.

We are currently recruiting participants to take part in singing sessions in the Mansfield area. Please see “how to take part” for more details.
