This newly developed integrated research group, under the leadership of Professor Jon Arcelus, aims to work with clinical and non clinical academics, clinicians, and the LGBTQ+ community to develop research projects aimed at improving the wellbeing of this community.

 This will include the increase in connectivity between members of the community, acceptance among society and accessibility to clinical services.

 This research grou is also linked to the "Gender diversity and wellbeing" managed innovation network funded by the Institute of Mental Health.
